Amazing discovery

In his DVD, “Learn the Bible in 24 hours”, Chuck Missler draws attention to a “hidden” message in the Bible.
It could not have been “planted” by any human. It is clearly a revelation which only God could have made possible.
The remarkable fact is that it is not really concealed. It is there, open for anyone to see, tucked away in the genealogical record of Adam and his nine descendants, as recorded in
Genesis, chapter 5.
Though each Hebrew name (of Adam and his progeny) has a specific meaning, our English Bible doesn't pass on this information to us, so we are unaware of the following detail.
Adam = man. Then come his nine descendants in the following order: Seth = appointed. Enosh = mortal. Kenan = sorrow (imagine having that as your name!). Mahalalel = the blessed God. Jared = shall come down. Enoch = teaching. Methuselah = his death shall bring. Lamech = the despairing. Noah = comfort (or rest).
So these ancients gave their children remarkable names, reflecting some family crisis or other event. They could never have known that their names spelt out the following one-sentence summary of the Christian gospel:
Man (is) appointed mortal sorrow; (but) the blessed God shall come down, teaching (that) his death shall bring the despairing comfort (or rest).

The New Testament is in the Old concealed. The Old Testament is in the New revealed.
